Rediscover God’s merciful love through reconciliation

The Light is on for You!

We invite you to come and experience the healing love of Christ through the sacrament of reconciliation.

On Thursday, Feb. 25, 2016, Catholic churches in our diocese will open their doors from 5 – 8 p.m. to offer the sacrament of reconciliation. Our priests will be readily available to hear confessions during that time.

What is the sacrament of reconciliation?

In his abundant love and mercy, Jesus Christ established the sacrament of confession, so that we as sinners can obtain forgiveness for our sins and reconcile with God and the Church. This sacrament, also known as the sacrament of penance, or confession, “washes us clean,” and helps us discover anew God’s love for us.
