In the back of the church, there is a basket with some basic information on some Catholic Saints. Some of these Saints may be familiar to you, and some may not.

During this Year of Mercy, we are encouraging all of our parishioners to pick one of the
Saints from the basket. One saint per person, children included.

We encourage you to get to know this Saint better by finding our about their life. Have fun investigating this Saint of your throughout the year! Potential resources available to you could be found at the Catholic book stores that have blessed the Grand Rapids area, libraries, and online resources such as the Catholic Encyclopedia and Catholic.org’s “Saint of the Day” page (it has a search bar located just below information on the current day’s Saint).

Have fun learning about, and then sharing your very own Year of Mercy Saint! We hope this Saint and their intercession will bless your life.
