Ego te baptizo in nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritus Sancti

All children are a gift from God and we rejoice with every little one welcomed into God’s family through the sacrament of baptism. The Catechism of the Catholic Church reminds us that “The Church does not know of any means other than Baptism that assures entry into eternal beatitude; this is why she takes care not to neglect the mission she has received from the Lord to see that all who can be baptized are “reborn of water and the Spirit.” Therefore, we encourage expecting parents to arrange for the baby’s baptism as soon as possible. Classes about this important sacrament are available for new parents and families who are new to our parish.

Baptism Preparation

If you are expecting a child, we offer a baptism class for families in the parish (first child or new parishioners) who are looking to have a baby baptized here. Please contact the parish office if you have any questions at (616) 459-8362.
